Watched "World Trade Center" today in support of ren's hall's fund-raising for mission trip. after the show and being ever the foodies we are, we decided to go to the HK cafe at marina square for some supper.

BOY. some supper it was. firstly, manager warned tt the kitchen had partial power failure, so some food were not available. den another waitress came and took our order, onli to tell us tt MAJORITY of the food were not available (by dis time alr a lil pissed). after finishing our food, we realised tt ppl ard us were having initially unavailable hot drinks, toasts and hot desserts (WTF). so we asked the manager, and he said "oh, our kitchen is now working agn". ok, so we ordered hot drinks and toast from dis black uncle, and u WOULD NOT believe wad he said, "oh, pineapple buns? think dun have. lemme go check" - after a while - "oh, there is buns, hot drinks? i duno if have, if dun have den maybe i come back and tell u." OMG.
as we were waiting for our food, Black Uncle suddenly puts down 2 cups of milk tea on our table, claiming it was "complimentary". wenting says it was act a wrong order to another table, so he jus gave it to us. ok, nvm, free. DEN, after a LOOONG wait, our drinks came, and we thot it looked wierd, asked the waitress if it was correct. after checking, she came back and said it was correct (we ordered yuan yang and teh). den we asked her wad was the other one. U WUN BELIEVE wad she did. at first she said it was teh xi, den we said "eh no leh,we ordered teh". SHE LIFTED THE SPOON FROM THE CUP, SAW UNMELTED MILK ON IT AND SAID " OH, ITS TEH, ITS TEH." WAD THE FUCK. U DUN DO TT TO THE FOOD INFRONT OF THE CUSTOMER.
so we COMPRAINED to the manager. lame excuses poured out from him. kitchen down, cashier down, poor solo worker in kitchen in a mess. WADEVA. halfway thru the compraining, the BLACK UNCLE came and put another drink on our table, and muttered, "complimentary" agn. OMG. shortly after the manager left, a waitress came and gave us our bill when we didn ask for it. i mean, WAD THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE SERVICE STAFF THERE?!?!?! *&q^#*&$%q%^ u think tt's the end? NOOO. the change came back 10 cents short (laffs in disbelief).
so folks, avoid the place. its horrendous. worse service i've ever encountered. (agreed by 5 other ppl unanimously). now i can onli think back and laugh at the amazing sequence of wrongs. haha.
