i got into south africa for my exchange program...the elation lasted a mere 30 mins.
reason? my parents jus told me straight in the face they have absolutely NO money to send me there. den my mom starts blaming me for not working to save up for this when i noe i was gg to apply for it. wth!!
once in a lifetime opportunity is gone. forever. unless money falls fr the sky, or my fairy godmother appears, or i find a genie lamp, or some insanely kind soul gives me money, or my hse starts to print money. If not i canNOT go.
thots of cheetah rides, rain dancing with the tribes or finding a springbok bf is all gone. jus liddat.
