sensed sth amiss when prisc called at 7am. the news hit me at noon when i saw the msg. broke down. it took so long to sink in. but has it? i duno wad the feeling is now.
gene's letter expressed all our words, our emotions. but it is never enough.
will forever miss you. stepping onto the fields will never feel the same again. trainings will always resonate with ur laughter, ur encouragements, ur positivity. drinking and eating tea leaf eggs/ chicken wings/ almost everything will feel different. ur presence will always be felt.
remember my best game with u at BKK 2005. how u hit me on the head to spur me on when im about to give up. how u psyched us up before each game. ur never ending energy every morning when everyone is barely awake. ur funny antics. being the great bunk mate up in sydney. being the great senior u are. being the most wonderful friend/ teammate.
